Treatment of cervical cancer during pregnancy (CCP) is controversial and individual. Here, we present a successful case of a 31-year-old woman who was diagnosed of stage IB3 cervical squamous cell carcinoma at her 14th week of pregnancy. As the patient had a strong desire to preserve her pregnancy, she was first treated with 4 cycles of neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT), cisplatin 75mg/m2 and paclitaxel 175mg/m2 per 21 days. Then a cesarean section followed by a radical hysterectomy and pelvic lymphadenectomy was performed at her 36 weeks and 3 days of gestation, and no post operational adjuvant therapy was performed. Due to the large amount of compounds present in heavy crudes and bitumens, kinetic modeling of hydrocracking is generally used lumping models to simplify calculations. One way to ensure that the model regime depends only on the reaction mechanisms is to obtain intrinsic kinetics. This happens when it is verified that the transport resistances are negligible depending on the reactor system. Therefore, the kinetic reaction parameters obtained (rate constant, activation energies and collision factors) are affected only by the reaction and not the diffusion phenomena within the reactor. Olefinic Ester Resins from Maleamic Acids

Three different olefinic ester resins were prepared by reacting epoxy resin with monofunctional ma-leamic acid i.e., N-phenyl maleamic acid and bifunctional maleamic acids namely N-(4-hydroxy phenyl)maleamic acid and N-(4-carboxy phenyl)maleamic acid. These maleamic acid compounds were prepared and characterized by FT-IR, 1H-NMR, proton decoupled 13C-NMR spectroscopic techniques. Reaction of these compounds with epoxy resin followed first order. The activation energy was determined for the re-action of these compounds with epoxy resin and is in the range of 70.9-132.3kJmol-1. Rheological studies on olefinic ester resins indicated Newtonian behavior. Olefinic ester resin derived from monofunctional maleamic acid had lowest viscosity and better shelf life than bifunctional derive.....

A Facile and Cost Effective Synthesis of Biomass-Supported Palladium Nanoparticles Using Sodium Hypophosphite for Catalytic Dechlorination of Chlorobenzene

Although molecular hydrogen is very useful in environmentally clean technology, its usage also comes with some associated hazards and hence the need to use hydrogen donor compounds such as sodium hypophosphite in the generation of hydrogen as electron donor. In this study, sodium hypophosphite was utilized as a source of hydrogen and as an electron donor in the biogenic reduction of palladium onto the surface of bacterial cells (aerobic and anaerobic bacteria) to produce bio-nanoparticles with potential in the dehalogenation of chlorinated pollutants like chlorobenzene. The purpose of this paper is to provide a facile and cost effective approach to the synthesis of biogenic nanoparticles using sodium hypophosphite as a hydrogen donor compound.

Until recently, it was considered one of the most effective directions in the development of the electric power industry to increase the share of renewable energy sources (RES) in the balance of power and electricity of power systems in the form of wind and solar power plants (wind turbines and solar power plants), the main advantages of which are considered to be the economy of fossil fuel (coal, gas, fuel oil) and reducing environmentally harmful emissions into the atmosphere. However, at the same time, the influence of renewable energy sources on the controllability of the modes of operation of electric power systems and on the reliability of the functioning of the RES remains completely unexplored. Dunbar syndrome or celiac artery compression syndrome was described for the first time by Harjola in 1963. It’s an infrequent clinical condition, with few criteria for diagnosis and with obscure pathophysiology. It is usually associated with an extrinsic compression upon the celiac axis near its takeoff from the aorta by fibrous diaphragmatic bands or sympathetic neural fibers. This syndrome is as uncommon cause for upper abdominal angina. The classic sympthoms include vomiting associated to pos prandial pain, weight loss and soufle in the epigastric region. Awake Burr Hole Drainage Lessons Learned from 173 Experience of Local Anesthesia

Background: Chronic subdural (CSDH) may happen after several day or week after mild to moderate head trauma, especially old age population. Usually, the procedure was done under general anesthesia, the procedure should be done by under local anesthesia due to several lesion. We routinely performed burr hole drainage under local anesthesia and report its benefits.Methods: We retrospective review 173 patients with CSDH operated by burr hole under local anesthesia from March 2010 to February 2018. Result: The age range was from 20 to 90 years with mean age of 66.5 years. There were 122 (70.5%) males and 51 (29.5%) females. Exploration of Organic Compound Degradation Capability of Indigenous Soil Bacteriaand their Consortium from Oil Refinery of Assam

Present study was focused on the biodegradation capability of indigenous bacterial culture and their consortium. On the basis of GC-FID, Consortium Qs15 was found to be potent consortium for the degradation of petrol, toluene, xylene, diesel, benzene and hexane. Gene which is responsible for the degradation is present on the plasmid. The amplification and sequencing of the 16S rRNA gene showed, Consortium Qs15comprised of two Bacillus strains namely, Bacillus sp E14 and Bacillus sp E87. Experimental data reveals that Qs15 proven to be better option to eradicate wide range of hydrocarbon via bioremediation technique.
