In 2007, at age 42, he graduated and started his neurology residency at Hamot Medical Center in Erie. He was chief resident in 2006 and again in 2007. At the completion of his residency he was hired by Hamot as a neurohospitalist. He intimately involved in resident training and running the day-to-day operations of the hospital. He has won the residents’ teaching award three times. I am now the neurology division chief.
