He also has a clinical appointment with the Department of Anesthesiology at The University of Miami School of Medicine. He is licensed to practice medicine in the states of Florida and New York.

Yu-Chiang Hung grew up in Taiwan and received his Bachelors degree from the China Medical University in 1990 , another M.D . degree from the National Yang-Ming University in 1992 , and Ph.D. degree from the Chang Gung University in 2010. His PhD thesis was “Functional proteomic study in bioactive compounds of radix Salvia miltiorrhiza”. Dr. Hung had found that Salvia miltiorrhiza could inhibit vascular smooth muscle cell proliferation to treat atherosclerosis. He is an attending and director of Department of Chinese medicine in Kaohsiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital now.

Amir A. Sepehri has received his B.S.E.E. from Auburn University, USA and his PhD from ‘faculté polytechnique de mons’ (Mons University, Belgium), on digital audio signal processing. He has worked on a special research program on ‘Computerized Screening of Congenital Heart Disease’ for 16 years. The program was aimed toward obtaining a special diploma known as ‘l’Agrégation de lEnseignementSupérieur’ in the same university. The result of his research work is formulated as Arash-Band method and it is internationally patented. Based on Arash-Band method: unique processing method in murmur characterization, a robust device for automated screening of children’s congenital heart diseases, known as POUYA-Heart is developed and it is now available as a diagnostic medical device. POUYA-Heart is the first Intelligent phonocardiograph for CHD and CCHD screening. He has several publications on congenital heart diseases screening, detection and cardiac murmurs. He is currently director of CAPIS biomedical R&D department.

Andreas C Petropoulos graduated from Medical School, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece in 198(honors) and Military Academy of Staff Officers as a Second Lieutenant/Hellenic Air Force. Holds a MSc(honors) in Preventive Cardiology, University of Athens, Greece. Served as a Senior Flight Surgeon, Consultant in Pediatrics, Fetal, Pediatric, Congenital Cardiology, Aviation Medicine for 30 years rising to Group Captain(Colonel). After military retirement, arrived in Baku (08/2012). Currently is the academic-clinical lead in Department of Fetal & Pediatric Cardiology in Merkezi, XMS Hospitals and Echocardiography Lab, Department of Pediatrics/Medical University in Baku. Teaching: Associate Professor of Pediatrics (Cardiology) at the Azerbaijan State Medical University(03/2013-present) and the “Aziz Aliyev” national postgraduate and continues medical educational center(04/2014-present), Baku, Azerbaijan. National delegator for Azerbaijan in AEPC. He Published 45 papers, abstracts, chapters in books regarding Congenital Heart Disease, Pediatrics, Heart Failure, Aviation Medicine.
