He works in Surgical Clinic nr. III, Gastroenterology and Hepatology Institute, Prof. Dr. Octavian Fodor, in Cluj-Napoca. He is the coordinator of the HIPEC program in our institution. He is a member of the European Association for Endoscopic Surgery and Other Interventional Techniques (EAES) and the Romanian Association of Hepato-Billiard-Pancreatic Surgery and Liver Transplant. His areas of interest are hepato-billiard-pancreatic and oncology digestive surgery and was main surgeon in over 1500 surgeries. He did internships at the Transplant and Visceral Clinic in Heidelberg, Germany and training in HIPEC procedure in The Netherlands Cancer Institute and he got my diploma in Laproscopic Advanced Surgery at Strasburg University, France (IRCAD). Regarding his scientific activity, I published 22 articles in extenso, 12 of them as main author. He is the author of 51 published abstracts, 9 posters and 13 chapters in different specialty books. All publications targeted digestive surgical pathology. He has finished a PhD research in 2016, in the field of advanced colorectal cancer. He is the coordinator of the clinical trials that are conducted in our institution, studies aimed on patients with digestive surgical pathology.
