He is an internationally known scientist contributing in two areas of knowledge: biomechanics of human musculoskeletal system and optical methods in experimental mechanics. He is author of over 90 papers published in the high quality, internationally recognized scientific journals and over 175 papers presented and published in proceedings of various international and national scientific conferences. He has extensive research credentials, is widely published, has received numerous research grants, has numerous patents in various fields of interest, and has presented at many medical/surgical conferences/meetings. (Physiological Research Laboratories, a facility of Medtronic, Inc., Minneapolis, MN), a medical/surgical consultant for NAMSA, Inc (Minneapolis, MN), Chief Medical Officer for RCRI, Inc. (Minneapolis, MN), and ImmuMed, Inc. (Minneapolis, MN). He is a member of numerous scientific research, medical, and surgical societies.

President Foundation de Beaumont Bonelli for Cancer Research. His basic researches have been concerned with antigens induced early during the replication cycle of human herpesviruses. Another study has involved the identification, isolation and characterization of specific virus-induced tumour antigens, which were the "finger-prints" left behind in human cancer.Achievements include patents in field; discovery of Respiratory Syncytial Virus in infant deaths in Naples and of tumor liberated protein as a tumor associated antigen, 55 kilodalton protein overexpressed in lung tumors and other epithelial adenocarcinomas.

She studied as a Guest Researcher in School of Nursing Science in University of Witten /Herdecke, Witten, Germany in 2008-2011 and a Senior Guest Researcher in School of Nursing Science in University of Witten/Herdecke, Witten, Germany in 2012-2015. She is also a Member of European Kinaesthetic Association, German and Austrian Branch. She got IOS New Scholar Award of Self Care Dependent Care Nursing, International Orem Society, USA in 2014.

He had worked at the Department of Informatics, J. E. Purkinje University, Usti nad Labem, Czech Republic, as a Research Professor from June 2013 to July 2015. He worked at Sungkyunkwan University as a research professor from March 1, 2016 to September 30, 2017. Now he is a collaborator in GECAD/ISEP/IPP, Porto, Portugal since February 1, 2013 and he works IT Research Institute, at Chosun University, Gwangju, S. Korea from October 1st, 2017 as a Research Professor. Also, he is interested in CPS Security, AMI security, context-aware security, multicast security (MSEC), RFID security, IoT Security, Bioinformation Security, and home network security.

He is the professor of Medical Oncology. His main interest area is breast cancer. He had been at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Texas, USA between 2004-2006 as visiting scientist and worked there at Breast Medical Oncology Department. Elsevier-Scopus honoured him to receive an award as one of the topten scientists in Turkey. He had breast cancer breast cancer presentations at both international and national conferences. He conducted more than 30 international breast cancer clinical studies. He had 603 international publications and 206 international absracts and 5174 citations.
