Sarhan was born in Jordan in 1970. He received a B.S. in biomedical engineering from Syracuse University, NY, USA in 1991; M.S. in electrical engineering from Syracuse University in 1992; and a Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Dayton, Ohio, USA in 1996. He is currently working as a consultant for BUSET medical and electronics company in Dubai. He has also worked in Kuwait as a full professor of computer engineering at the American University of the Middle East; and in Saudi Arabia at Taif University and King Faisal University. He has also worked in the United Arab Emirates at the New York Institute of Technology. He has also taught at several universities in Jordan including Yarmouk University, the University of Jordan, and Amman University. He has received several awards including The Best Student Paper Award for the paper “Partition-Based Filters,” published in the NAECON conference, Dayton, Ohio, May 1995 and the award granted by the United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM) for supervising the Best Female Student Project in Jordan, 2009. He has received a tuition scholarship from Syracuse University, USA and a research assistantship from the University of Dayton, USA. His main research interests include biomedical signal processing and pattern recognition.

Yurii V Ezepchuk was born in 1932 in USSR. He graduated from Moscow State University’s Department of Biology in 1956, where he majored in microbiology. For more than 30 years he worked in Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, the Gamaleya Research Institute, where he created the Laboratory of the Molecular Basses of Bacterial Pathogenicity, specializing in the study of the model of enzymes, toxins, antigens, produced by a variety pathogens. He developed the biological concept of the phenomenon of bacterial pathogenicity. He is considered as the founder of Bio-molecular Concept of the Bacterial Pathogenicity’ Phenomenon. He has Ph.D., Dr. Biol. Sciences and the title Professor in Biochemistry

She has published more than 30 papers in reputed journals, supervised 18 theses as a principal advisor and has been serving as a reviewer for Assiut Medical J and Egyptian University Promotion Committe.

Fatema Akhter is an assistant professor of Oral Biology at the Dar Al Uloom University, Riyadh, KSA. She received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh and her Ph.D. from Osaka University, Japan. She started her academic career as a lecturer at the Pioneer Dental College, Dhaka Bangladesh in 2006. She had been awarded Monbukagvkusho Scholarship by Japan Govt. in 2009 to complete her Ph.D. After accomplishing her Ph.D., she returned to Riyadh, KSA in 2015, where she accepted a faculty position at the Dar al Uloom University. She is a chairman of the Department of Oral Surgery and Diagnostic Sciences since 2015. She has some collaborative research works with Graduate school of Dentistry, Osaka University.

Second is in industrial engineering management about new methodology for scheduling projects applied on one-day surgery hospital in Lebanon. Lecturer at Dar Al Uloom University in KSA, partner and Designer at Darwish Company for buildings maintenance and construction in Tripoli Lebanon. Interested in heritage sites and buildings, aware about sustainability designs and solutions. Research Interest

During Fu Xiumin PhD study, she has doing research in the fields of metabolism of carotenoids and volatiles in fruits and tea plants and published 25 peer reviewed articles including journals such as J Exp Bot, Food Chem and J Agr Food Chem. My present research mainly focuses on the plant secondary metabolite including carotenoids and volatile compounds from both metabolic level and molecular level.
