Donatella Termini, Ph.D., received her Ph.D. in Hydraulics and Fluvial Hydraulics in 1996. In June 1997 nominated scientist of Hydraulic and Hydraulic Applications. In 1997 research fellow at the Queens University - Kingston - Ontario (Canada). From 1998 to 2000 she was a post-doctoral researcher at DIIAA of Palermos University. From May 2001 to December 2004 she was an assistant professor. Since January 2005 Associate Professor and since 2013 she also qualified as Full Professor in Hydraulic Engineering - Palermos University (Italy). Leader or collaborator of national or EU research projects and Guest Editor of International Journals. In 2007 she had “Karl Emil Hilgard Hydraulic Prize”. Present research efforts include the investigation in fluvial hydraulics and eco-hydraulics (flow resistance, effect of vegetation, sediment transport, effects of bed roughness), prediction of river morphological evolution (meandering and braiding) both through experimental investigations and by the development of numerical simulation codes. More than 150 papers published in proceedings of national and international congresses and in international scientific journals

Professor Chi-Wen Lin is a Distinguished Professorof Safety Health and Environmental Engineering Department, Taiwan. Dr. Lin has completed his PhDin Civil and Environmental Engineering from University of California at Davis, USA.He served as Director of Taiwan Association for Green and Low-carbon Technology, Committee on Environmental Protection Fund Management, and Committee on Environmental Impact Assessment for several County Governments in Taiwan.He has received 6times National awardsin “Special Outstanding Talent Award”, Ministry of Science and Technology, Taiwan and holds4 patents. Dr.Lin is the author of more than 60 scientific articles in the international journals and 200 papers in the conference which are related tobioenergy and biofuels, environmental biotechnology, waste water treatment, and soil and groundwaterbioremediation.

Baki Hazer received his M.S. and B.S. degrees in chemical engineering from the College of Chemical Engineering, University of Istanbul, in 1972 and his PhD degree from Karadeniz Technical University, in 1978. He received the Royal Society of Chemistry and TÜBİTAK joint research grant at the Liverpool University in the United Kingdom. He received the NATO Collaborative Research Grant at the Department of Polymer Science and Engineering, University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 1995–1997, and was Fulbright Visiting Professor at the same department in 1992–1993. He was a Visiting Scientist at The University of Akron in 2007. He had a science prize from Bülent Ecevit University (2015) and an honorary membership by the Turkish Chemical Society (2005). He is a Member of the Turkish Chemical Society and Member of the Editorial Boards of Hacettepe Journal of Biology and Chemistry and Journal of Clinical Rehabilitative Tissue Engineering Research (CRTER). He is specialized in soybean oil polymers and post polymerization reactions, nanocomposite synthesis, bacterial polyesters, block and graft copolymers, macro monomeric initiators, controlled leaving polymerization, and thermoresponsive polymers. 021116.
