He worked my way through medical school from 2003-2007. He still ran my store and sold software the he personally developed while attending medical school full-time. In 2007, at age 42, he graduated and started his neurology residency at Hamot Medical Center in Erie. He was chief resident in 2006 and again in 2007. At the completion of his residency he was hired by Hamot as a neurohospitalist. He intimately involved in resident training and running the day-to-day operations of the hospital. He has won the residents’ teaching award three times. I am now the neurology division chief.

During the last few years much attention is concentrated on magnetic isotope effects in biological systems, search and biophysical mechanisms. First in the world experiments on living cells enriched with different magnesium isotopes, magnetic 25Mg or nonmagnetic 24Mg or 26Mg. The striking beneficial effects of magnetic 25Mg were detected in the experiments with bacteria E. coli and in the experiments with another commonly accepted cell model, yeast S. cerevisiae. Furthermore, in the experiments with Ukrainian colleagues from Palladin Institute of Biochemistry, Kiev, it has been discovered that the nuclear spin of magnetic 25Mg improves efficiency of operation of muscle myosin, one of the most important enzymes of cell bioenergetics.
