Dr. Khaled Hossin is an assistant professor in Mechanical Engineering at the American University of Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. He received a Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering from Northumbria University, UK. He also received his MSc and BSc degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Benghazi, Libya. Prior to joining the American University of Ras Al Khaimah, Dr. Hossin joined the Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of Benghazi as a teaching assistant (2004 – 2008) then served as a lecturer since 2008 at the same Department. Furthermore, he served as an associate lecturer at the Mechanical Engineering Department at Northumbria University, UK between 2014 and 2017. He is a member of editorial board and reviewer for numerous International Scientific Journals as well as a member at several national and international scientific and professional bodies

He received the Master’s degree in Experimental physics at the Mechnikov State University (Odessa, USSR) in 1978 and the diplomas of the Candidate (PhD) and Doctor of Science in experimental physics of semiconductors and dielectrics at the Mechnikov State University in 1983 and 1999 respectively. He was as a postdoctoral researcher at the photo physics department of the Technical University in Dresden. Since 2007 till 2011, he worked as a BK21 professor at Electrical and Computer Engineering Division of Hanyang Institute of Technology of Hanyang University, Seoul, South Korea. Now he works at the Department of Biomedical Engineering of Konyang University, Nonsan, South Korea. His research area is electrical and photo electrical properties of semiconductors, nanomaterials, intelligent photovoltaic sensors, spectral images technology, automation and robotics.

He received PhD in Engineering of Thermophysics from Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2010. He obtained his 2nd PhD in Micro and Nano Systems Technology at University of South-Eastern Norway (USN), 2013. Currently, he is a full professor at North China Electric Power University, Beijing, China. His research interests center on heat and mass transfer, development and assembly of nanostructured materials for energy applications.

He received his BS degree in Electric Engineering from Wuhan University of Surveying and Mapping, his MASc and Ph.D. degrees in Optical Engineering from Institute of Optics and Electronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 1993, 1997 and 2001 respectively. He is the member of SPIE (International Society for Optical Engineering) and OSA (Optical Society of America). He has been engaged in the research on high resolution optical imaging techniques including large-aperture optical telescope and instrumentations for more than 20 years. More than 200 papers have been published. He is the vice director of the Institute of Optics and Electronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the vice director of The Key Laboratory on Adaptive Optics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

He is currently a Professor in the Department of Electric Engineering, Da-Yeh University, Taiwan, R.O.C. He received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from Chung Cheng Institute of Technology in 1987, 1991, and 1997, respectively. His major fields are multivariable control and optimal control, flight control systems, and solar energy/energy storage systems.

His research experience is related to process design and development, energy optimization of industrial processes and assessment of the environmental impact of products and production processes through LCA analysis. He has participate as a senior researcher in more than 15 EC funded projects.

Rachid Masrour, from Morocco, actually, is a Professor in the National School of Applied Sciences at the University of Cadi Ayyad, Safi, Morocco where he has been a faculty member since April 2011. Dr. Rachid Masrour completed his Ph.D. in March 2006 at University of Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah, Fez, Morocco. His research interests lie in the area of Magnetism of materials and Condensed Matter Physics. He has 205 articles published in Thomson Reuters and 9 book chapters published in international journal. He participated in more 60 Moroccan and international congress. Hes a Referee of a several articles and also Editorial Board Members in different international journal. He has a lot of collaboration with laboratories from abroad.
