Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the causes and consequences of workplace incivility, with a focus on its positive and negative effects on workplace adaptation and incivility parameters. To do this, data is collected from banking staff in Jhelum and Sohawa districts of Pakistan using a quantitative approach while the data is analyzed statistically. Confirmatory factor analysis is used to analyze the data using AMOS 21. Path analysis is used to investigate the connection between workplace adaptation and incivility. After statistically controlling for the various demographic factors, people with a high level of negative effect and a low degree of establishing relationships with co-workers and supervisors are more likely to be uncivil.
