Abstract

This article delves into the realm of sustainable and distributed energy resources. It focuses on the full exploitation of renewable energy sources, especially addressing the issues of underutilized or discarded solar and wind power. To overcome the instability of several renewable energy resources, a comprehensive design is proposed, integrating complementary power generation, energy storage, and energy blockchain for efficient energy management and trading the carbon neutrality approaches are rigorously analyzed through both theoretical frameworks and experimental investigations. Methodically, the advantages, such as enhanced energy efficiency and reduced environmental impact, optimized time scheduling of the electrical sources-and-consumption are presented. The current challenges, like intermittency of renewable energies and high initial investment, are further explored. The smart carbon neutrality approaches are analyzed in both theory and experiments. The distributed energy generation emerges as an economical pathway with the methodical solution towards achieving carbon emissions reduction and carbon neutrality.
