One Stop Updating Plus Version to Redefine the Longitude System of the Earth Even More Reasonably

Due to the era limitation of acknowledgement, there are some contradictory items in the existing longitude system of the Earth since the prime meridian and the international date line are marked artificially to satisfy the need of seaborne trade in1880s. Based on the evolution theory of the ancient plates distribution and the oceans, the longitude system of the Earth could be updated to the plus version smoothly by exchanging the marking location of the prime meridian and the international date line along the anticlockwise rotating of the Earth. Thus, it would get even more reasonable and harmonious with nature and human activities on the Earth. Such as it could be found the solid support in the updating plus version of longitude system of the Earth to explain why the eastern and western Pacific Oceans should belong to the Eastern and Western Hemispheres respectively.

Have you ever noticed the contradictory aspects of the existing longitude system of the Earth? Such as the eastern Pacific Ocean was divided into the Western Hemisphere while the western Pacific Ocean was divided into the Eastern Hemisphere? How did it come into being for centuries? Have you ever suspected the theoretical support of the existing longitude system of the Earth? Did it have anything to do with the evolution theory of the ancient plate’s distribution and the oceans, especially the dissembling of the unique supercontinent 66 Ma ago? It is positive and helpful to find answers for the default neglected questions in human habits in the following chapters.

The disadvantages of the existing longitude system of the Earth

It is well known that human beings are running in the existing longitude system of the Earth. It is shown by Figure 1 as follows, the disadvantages of the existing longitude system of the Earth are listed below:

A. The existing longitude system of the Earth was specified artificially in the international conferences held in1884 in order to satisfy the actual need of seaborne trade globally. Due to the limitation of era acknowledgement, it obviously lacks the theoretical support of the evolution and distribution of the ancient plates of the Earth;

B. The prime meridian [1] is actually the core center of the longitude system of the Earth, yet London on which it was located is not on the core center ancient plate globally. Therefore, the setting of the prime meridian is inconformity to its essential role globally. However, the core center ancient plate is hiding in the Northwestern Pacific Ocean floor which evolved from the ancient Jiazhou plate (X1, the largest plate) once dissembled from the unique supercontinent [2] 66 Ma ago. It is shown by Figure 2 & Figure 3 as follows.

C. There is an obvious contradictory result in the Western and Eastern Hemispheres separated from the existing longitude system that the eastern Pacific Ocean belongs to the Western Hemisphere while the western Pacific Ocean belongs to the Eastern Hemisphere. It is shown by Figure 4 as follows.

D. In the front view of the Earth self-rotating anticlockwise with the Atlantic Ocean lying in the middle, the sequence from Western Hemisphere to Atlantic Ocean and Eastern Hemisphere, or simply W→A→E, which is inconformity to that of the alphabet. It is shown by Figure 5 as follows.

The advantages of the updating plus version of the longitude system of the Earth

By exchanging the setting location of the Prime Meridian (PM) and the International Date Line (IDL), the updating plus version of the longitude system of the Earth would be got easily. It is shown by Figure 6 as follows.

The advantages of the updating plus version of the longitude system of the Earth are listed below:
a) Once the prime meridian is set through the north Pacific Ocean floor, it would deserve to be the core center of the longitude system of the Earth reasonably since the northwestern Pacific Ocean floor corresponds to the Sun, the core center of the Solar System. It is shown by Figure 7 as follows;

b) In the updating plus version, the Western and Eastern Hemispheres would be just exchanged from the existing longitude system of the Earth. That is to say, the ancient American plate would be divided into the Eastern Hemisphere while the ancient Eurasian plates would be divided into the Western Hemisphere. It is shown by Figure 8 as follows,

Therefore, it is interesting and even more reasonable and natural to find that Western and Eastern Pacific

Oceans would belong to the Western and Eastern Hemispheres respectively;

A. In the world map with the Pacific Ocean lying in the middle, the sequence from Western Hemisphere to Pacific Ocean and Eastern Hemisphere, or simply W→P→E, which is conformity to that of the alphabet naturally and reasonably based on the selfrotating of the Earth from west to east. It is shown by Figure 9 as follows;

However, the initial letter outlines of the Western and Eastern Hemispheres, “W” and “E”, just implies the orogenic state of the ancient plates (the ancient European, African and Indian plates surrounding the ancient Asian plate) in the Western Hemisphere and the expanding state of the ancient American plate in the Eastern Hemisphere. It is the same as the human individual’s life that starts from his or her mother’s Womb naturally and ends in the Tomb, or simply W→T. However, the outline of “W” implies the fetus curling up in his or her mother’s womb and brewing the fresh and infinite energy like a section of compressed spring. While the outline of “T” implies the nail to seal the coffin that would be buried in the tomb. It is shown by Figure 10 as follows.

In the standard time of the updating plus version of the longitude system of the Earth, the ancient Asian plate mostly lies in the period 3:00～10:00, including the lowest temperature of one day (5:00～6:00) symbolizes the shrinking state. While the ancient American plate mostly lies in the period 14:00～21:00, including the highest temperature of one day (14:00～16:00) symbolizes the expanding state. However, the period 19:00～21:00 is called golden time symbolizing the highlight of one day. That is to say, the updating plus version of the longitude system of the Earth would be conformity to the property evolution [3] of the ancient plates and oceans of it. In the standard time of the updating plus version of the longitude system of the Earth, the Eastern Hemisphere where the ancient American plate is located should be ahead of the Western Hemisphere where the ancient Eurasian plate is located. In other words, in the outline of the ocean floor globally, the big end of head located on the Northern Pacific Ocean floor should be ahead of the ancient Eurasia plate. However, the mid-Atlantic ridge cracking symbolizes the actual date separation between the new day and the old one. That is to say, a new day should be started from the ancient American plate. In the activities of greeting the new year, USA is always ahead of China since the former is related to the Sun (calendar new year) while the latter is related to the Moon (lunar new year). What’s more, the Sun and Moon just symbolize the attributes (♂and♀) in the universe that would be conformity to attribute evolution [3] of the ancient plates and oceans of the Earth. It is shown by Figure 13 as follows.

The similar interesting case happening in activities of human beings

In history, when the car was invented by human beings in 1880s, it adopted the design of backward doors mostly. However, after more than 140 years, majority cars adopt the design of forward doors while only minority ones reserve the design of backward doors. It is shown by Figure 14 as follows. The reason why the design of forward door cars is far more than popular among human beings may lie in the fact that the forward doors of a car look like the spreading wings of a flying bird. That implies to be conformity to harmony with nature.

How to update to the plus version of the longitude system of the Earth?

It is simple to update to the plus version from the existing longitude system of the Earth by adding one day once the time of ancient American plate running into section of 12:00～24:00.

It would get one stop theoretical support of the evolution of the ancient plates distribution and oceans of the Earth and be more harmonious to nature in human activities by updating the existing longitude system of the Earth to the plus version of exchanging the mark location of the prime meridian and the international date line with rotating anticlockwise in the standard time frame. The best practical example comes from the car design that the cars with forward doors have become the main stream in human traffic tools since the forward doors look like the spreading swings of a flying bird.
