Prof. Dr. Guijun Xian, School of Civil Engineering, Harbin Institute of Technology. Since 2005 to 2009, he worked in the Technology University of Kaiserslautern, and University of California (San Diego). His current research interests focus on carbon, glass, basalt and natural fiber reinforced polymer composites and structures, their long term durability, design and application of the FRP composites in various fields. By 2019, Dr. Xian has published more than 150 papers, and serves in various academic committees.

Served as a council in Chinese Society of Particuology. Served as an Editorial Board Member of Applied Nanoscience, China Powder Sci. & Technol., Eng. Plastics & Appl. and Chinese J. Eng. director of China Particle Society; director of Suzhou Returnees Association; once chaired the branch of the international academic conference three times.

Research Interest

Marek Kozlowski is professor emeritus in Wrocław University of Science and Technology, Poland. 50 years in chemistry and technology of plastics. Scientific interest in new plastic materials with improved functional properties, since 1995 in recycling of packaging waste, waste of electrical and electronic equipment, and end-of-life vehicles (Poland, Israel, Italy, Portugal). Recent involvement in development of new bio-based plastics, including composites and smart materials. Participation in several domestic and international R&D projects. Entrepreneurial certificate issued by the Central Connecticut State University, USA, industrial practice in large and SME in Poland. Innovation awards at international fairs in Brussells, Nuernberg, Kuala Lumpur, Environmental Award by the Society of Plastics Engineers, USA.

In 1987 he defended his Ph.D. thesis on the topic “Development, creation and research of a trench-type solar greenhouse for growing coffee trees”, in 2000 at the Moscow State Forest University, a doctoral dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Agricultural Sciences on the topic “Agricultural technology for growing a melon tree (Carica papay L.) in protected ground conditions in Turkmenistan”, 2022 at the Federal Scientific Agroengineering Center All-Russian Institute of Mechanization (VIM), in Moscow, doctoral dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences on the topic “Scientific substantiation of the use of energy technologies based on renewable sources energy in Turkmenistan. Works as an assistant professor at the Department of Automation of Production Processes, the Turkmen Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering.

Dr. Khantong Soontarapa is a professor of Chemical Engineering at the Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University. Dr. Khantong received her Bachelor in chemical engineering from Chulalongkorn University, Master in Environmental Engineering from Asian Institute of Technology and Chulalongkorn University and Ph.D. in Membrane Technology at Yokohama National University. She has cooperated fortunately with Prof. M. Tamura of University of Tokyo on Chemical & Chemical Process Safety according to OECF Project between Chulalongkorn University and University of Tokyo during 1998 to 2000. Her researches involve various aspects on membrane technology as well as chemical safety. Her current interests on membrane technology focus on applications of chitosan membranes for water treatment, fuel cell membrane, gas separation, membrane reactor, and wound dressing

Martin Masuelli is a Inv. Adj. of Instituto de Física Aplicada-CONICET-UNSL and Associate Professor-UNSL, San Luis, Argentina. He holds a masters degree and a PhD and Master thesis in Membrane Technology from National University of San Luis (UNSL). He is Director of Physics Chemistry Service Laboratory, UNSL. He is expert in polysaccharides and physics chemistry of macromolecules. He is author or co-author of more than 26 peer-reviewed international publications, six book chapters, 70 communications in national and international congresses, editor of five books. He is a member of the Sociedad Argentina de Ciencia y Tecnología Ambiental and Asociación Argentina de Fisicoquímica y Química Inorgánica. He is Editor in Chief and Founder, in July 2013, of Journal of Polymer and Biopolymers Physics Chemistry, Science and Education Publishing. He is editorial board of numerous Journals.
