Opinion

Etymologically, vocation comes from latin ^vocation^, a call for a mission [1]. I was born from the trunk of medicine, vocation in pediatric orthopedics population, I encompass science and surgical art in the locomotive apparatus and growing rachis. It is a subspecialty of orthopedics and thus I fulfil the medical spirit scientific technique, professional sensitivity, personal culture [2]. In the interest of the orthopedic hard surgery in the bone, I seek to align the development and altered growth of the child. I do this manually and instrumentally with my technique, molding or slaying the body surface looking for solution of their problem. I am attracted to morphological and artisanal sciences. Orthopedics surgery requires the professional of health and psych-physical fitness as well as manual skill for the activity. The vocation to pediatric orthopedics population can be inherited. There are families with more than one member in the same profession.

There may be triggers for this inheritance, either by contagion or imitation [3] or a mix of both. There is an explained factor. The memory of a good pediatricians can be moving. Among the critical, there is fondness for the nature, biology and in all its forms, human and animal diseases. There is also a permanent moral interest for assist people, and the professional should know that I will be demanded for a supportive and sensitive treatment, for an understanding of interest, for responsibility, for a search for participatory solutions, altruism, dignified behavior, acceptance of descent, kindness, continuity, scientific interest and medical narratives, intellectual interest etc [4]. Women have their maternal sense that is asking to the child but the vocation in pediatric orthopedics population is not common within female professionals, with their own motherhood being a deterrent [5]. The children’s orthopedic surgeon will show his vocation in prevention, having necessary experiences in emergency room activities. Humor and children’s games is no stranger to mine, on the contrary, I should try with my job to draw smiles on suffering children. Although economic interest is necessary, those who have a vocation do not think about it permanently. The social appreciation of the profession of years ago is not truly present today. The vocation to pediatric orthopedics population, which is carried out will give, through dedication and effectiveness, testimony of the vocational achievement.
