Abstract

A species of Lagocephalidae, Amblyrynchotes nigropunctatus diadematus (RUPPEL) 1828, living in Red Sea, casually catched in the middle part of Adriatic Sea, is reported and described. The authors enphatize the poisonous substances contained in gonades in this species.
