Abstract

In recent years many investigations have been focused in the direct consumption of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) [1] in the prevention of inflammatory and cardiovascular diseases [2], polyunsaturated fatty acids Omega-3 (O3PUFA) represent a wide opportunity area in medical nutrition research, including eicosatetraenoic acid (EPA) emerging as a new potential substance in depression treatment [3].
