Animal protein is one of the major components meeting the food nutrient requirement for the everyday increasing population and poultry meat plays a vital role in meeting this animal protein requirement. Production of poultry (broilers) with high growth rate and feed efficiency are the two main targets. There are many factors which should be considered get the optimum performance of the birds e.g. genetic potential of the birds, environmental conditions, disease out breaks and diets or feed. Feed counts for approximately 70 percent in the total cost of poultry production [1].
