The increase of the number of strains resistant to antibiotics and other antimicrobial agents is steadily increasing . The emergence of multidrugresistant strains poses a serious threat to public health, and the search for ways to reduce such risks is an urgent task. This review is devoted to a comprehensive study of an antiseptic based on silver ions stabilized in the citrate complex.
