Abstract

A mini review of literature data on the mechanisms of formation of the stock of free amino acids and their derivatives in atherosclerosis and methods for correcting metabolic imbalance. Our special interest in the study of the role of amino acids in the pathogenesis, prevention and treatment of atherosclerosis and its accompanying cardiovascular pathology in circulatory failure is due to several reasons.
