Innovation in Tissue Engineering & Regenerative Medicine is an international, open access, peer-reviewed journal that jointly applies the principles of engineering and life sciences. ITER Journal provides a fundamental understanding of structure-function relationships in normal and pathologic tissues with the ultimate goal of developing biological substitutes. ITER’s focus istowards providing internationally investigated and accepted open access research content which includes biology, medicine and engineering that is likely to transform the ways that upgrade the health and quality of life for millions of people by maintaining, restoring and enhancing tissue and organ tasks. Also ITER aims replacing, translating or regenerating human cells, tissues or organs to replace or establish fundamental function.
