Degenerative Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities is a scientific, scholarly, open access archival and multidisciplinary journal for reporting original contributions of the highest quality to the knowledge of intellectual disabilities, its causes, treatment and prevention. Intellectual Disability is exemplified by abnormal intellectual functioning (i.e., an IQ of approximately 70 or below) with concurrent deficits or impairments in adaptive functioning. DIDD is dedicated to meet the informational needs of those who seek effective ways to help people with intellectual disabilities. The DIDD journal reports new approaches, service utilization studies, administrative tools, program evaluation, community surveys, training and case studies, public policy issues and current research in intellectual disabilities. DIDD is an indispensable reference and resource platform for doctoral and masters-level universities, teaching hospitals, research organizations, sciences and human services libraries, local, state and federal agencies interested in understanding origin, prevention and treatment for intellectual disabilities. DIDD gladly accepts original research papers, review articles, mini-reviews, short communication, opinions and letters to editors etc.
